How to measure?

Sizing is an important step in making sure you buy the right hat.
It is recommended to use a ruler to circle your head, but please note that the position should be the depth and angle when you usually wear a hat, so that you can more accurately measure your head circumference. The measurement is your head circumference in centimeters/inches.

If the measurement result is between two sizes, which size should I choose?

When your measurement results are between two sizes, such as the minimum size is 54.9 cm and the maximum size is 62.5 cm (today's size), usually the head circumference will not exactly match a certain size. For example, assume that the head circumference is 55.5 cm, between cigarette size 67/8 and size 7. At this time, although 55.5 cm is relatively close to No. 7, it is relatively far away from 67/8. Therefore, it is recommended to choose No. 7. If your head circumference is between two feet and closer to the smaller size, it is recommended to choose the smaller size. But the most reliable way is to go to a treasure body store to try it on in person, because you know best which size is most suitable and comfortable.

Why do I buy the same size but it seems to be too big or too small when I wear it?

Each hat has certain tolerances due to factory production, especially in the New Era production line, this problem is common in all production locations. May vary due to differences in embroidery, pattern or size. Even basic styles, such as player models without embroidery, may have this problem. For example, I usually buy hats in size 7 1/8, but some are a little tight and some are a little loose. There are few solutions to avoid this problem other than trying it on yourself. However, usually the size tolerances are within my acceptable range, so I still choose to shop online. As far as the pattern is concerned, different production areas have different characteristics. For example, the hat crown in Bangladesh is boxy and has obvious edges and corners, while the pattern in China is rounder and egg-shaped. Although some people think that hats of the same size will fit better if they are made in Bangladesh, while hats made in China will feel tighter, but this view is not necessarily true. This is mainly due to the tolerance issues of each production line, which is the case in New Era's factory. Two hats of the same style and size will look different when worn. But if your head circumference is well measured, this tolerance will basically be within the acceptable range. Beyond that, hats made in Japan are generally well made and have relatively few tolerance issues.
